CPPS and trades
Couture Petits Points Sewing
A support model leading to lasting employment through learning a skilled trade.

CPPS is a support model promoting lasting access to employment. The pilot project ended on March 31, 2024 and continues through the FDC Project.
Decent work as a way forward
When a survivor of violence completes her stay at La Maison, access to decent work aligned with her career goals offers a dignified way out of precarity.
CPPS helps provide a safe economic environment for survivors. Focused on employability, the program aims at the socio-economic reintegration of racialized, immigrant and refugee French-speaking women and survivors of various forms of violence.
What the program makes possible
- Acquire and develop pre-employment skills
- Launch and sustain a career as an employee or entrepreneur
- Learn a skilled trade (sewing, computers, early childhood…) leading to employment or self-employment
