Child Witness Program
A safe space for mothers and their children
Helping mothers and their children aged 5 to 18 exposed to intimate partner violence rebuild together.

The Child Witness Program is offered to women and their children (aged 5 to 18) in Toronto’s French-speaking community who have been exposed to intimate partner and family violence.
Why this program?
Exposure to violence has many consequences for children. The program offers a safe space where women and children can share their experiences and access resources to help them manage the impacts of violence and changes in the family. Activities encourage mother-child dialogue and identifying positive ways to express feelings and respond to conflict.

Format
This program consists of 10 sessions in different age groups, led by trained counsellors.
