Give your time, change lives.
Volunteering has a real impact on public well-being, and it’s also a source of personal fulfilment.

Individual volunteering
La Maison warmly welcomes French-speaking, bilingual and francophile women who want to get involved in defending women’s rights and developing French-language services. Volunteering calls for autonomy, adaptability, solidarity, initiative and determination.
Corporate volunteering
Engage your staff in a volunteer day at La Maison. Bring together teams of 5 to 10 people to build cohesion and morale while helping improve and maintain the shelter’s spaces.
Skills-based volunteering
Offer your professional expertise to La Maison and its residents. We are especially looking for:
- Pro bono lawyer: a few hours of consultation for residents
- Doctor or nurse: consultations for residents and their children
- Language tutor: everyday English practice
Student internship
Interns make a valuable contribution, and it goes both ways: rich field experience, specialization in the area of violence, and a better ability to raise community awareness of its impact on children and families. La Maison accepts a limited number of interns each year.
